Thanks to its natural environment, Kenya provides the perfect habitat for a multitude of animal species. The varied scenery offers numerous opportunities for exploring on your own or with others and you will find it mesmerising. The distinctive feature of your nature training in a private game reserve near the Mount Kenya National Park will be the prevailing peace. This is the best requisite for conserving the flora and fauna and it enables you to do your training in an area where you can make unforgettable contact with nature.
During your training the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy will be your home. Enjoy the magic that Kenya has to offer and realise your commitment to nature to the full in the heart of the wilderness.
Located within the Enonkishu Conservancy on the banks of the Mara river, the Mara training centre is nestled between communities and the wildlife conservancies. It evolved from informal community meetings under an acacia tree within the Enonkishu Conservancy to what it has become today. Enonkishu as part of the huge Masai Mara was founded in 2009 by Tarquin and Philippa Wood and today secures 6000 acres of wildlife grazing rangelands. As a student in this camp you experience Kenya’s impressive nature at close quarters and are able to get to know the Maasai, the natives of the Masai Mara. Guided by long-term experienced field guides and surrounded by an astonishing biodiversity of lions, giraffes, leopards, buffalos, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, wildebeests, cheetahs, hyaenas and many other animals you will be able to enjoy a unique educational wilderness course in the midst of East Africa’s wild nature.
