This tour is an opportunity to discover the unique flora and fauna of southern Africa and use the time for personal development in the African wilderness and contributing to various species conservation projects. Your trip will start in two camps in South Africa and/or Botswana where you will go on a two month course to train as a field guide. You will learn what a ranger does, study native animal species and wild plants and get an insight into the geological and climate conditions in the area. At the end of your training, you will know how to organise group tours, guide course members safely through the wilderness and share your enthusiasm for African flora and fauna with them.
