Finally, the Chundu Cottage has 3 rooms, in which 6 guests can be accommodated – if some of them are children, even 8 guests can also be accommodated there. All chalets are equipped with beds with mosquito nets and private bathrooms. The Chundu Cottage also has a private pool. Each chalet offers an undisturbed panoramic view of the Zambezi River on wooden platforms, some of which stand directly above the water. Since the Chundu Cottage is located about 20 meters away from the riverbanks, it is especially suitable for families with children. They are very welcome in Chundukwa but should ideally be at least 12 years old.

Central facilities

The central point of the lodge is the thatched main building with restaurant, bar and lounge. This is open to the river and offers a wonderful view of the Zambezi while taking your meals or relaxing on the sofas. The river landscape can also be admired from the large swimming pool. WLAN is also available in the main building. On a stone platform directly in front of the main building a campfire is lit in the evening hours. A small highlight is certainly the lodging's own riding stable with 20 horses, which is located on the lodge grounds.

The lodge's activities are all optional and are booked separately by the guests on site or prior to the trip. The offer is characterised by an enormous variety: Nature and animal lovers can explore the wildlife of Southern Africa at close quarters during game drives and walks – in Mosi oa Tunya National Park, Zimbabwes Zambezi National Park or Botswana's Chobe National Park – as well as on horseback safaris or birding tours along the Zambezi River. A visit to the mighty Victoria Falls is also an extraordinary experience of nature.

Those who especially love the water worlds have the possibility to take part in canoe and boat trips, sunset cruises or fishing tours. Those interested in culture can visit nearby villages, local markets or Livingstone's museums and historical sites.
And adventure and outdoor enthusiasts also get their money's worth: sightseeing flights by helicopter, whitewater rafting or bungee jumping provide a real adrenalin kick. The lodge itself offers a complete overview of all the activities on offer.
