Your time out abroad –
Explore Oceania

Contrasts between deserts and rainforests, colorful metropolises and mythical places as well as plenty of beautiful lakes, woody islands, glaciers, geysers and endless beaches – Australia and New Zealand captivate every nature lover due to their unique landscapes and geological diversity. Explore Oceania during your sabbatical!

Your travel starts in Australia, the sixth largest state in the world. As a nature volunteer you will work for a maximum period of 12 weeks in different project sites along the Australian coast and commit yourself to the protection and conservation of natural resorts. You will make lots of great experiences and explore breathtaking regions, far away from the crowded tourist spots. Before you will continue your travel to New Zealand, you will have the chance to make a stopover in one of Australia’s amazing sights like the Australian Outback, the beautiful white beaches or the UNESCO-world heritage Great Barrier Reef. If you need any personal advises, please do not hesitate to contact us.

You will start your travel in Auckland, Wellington or Punakaiki from where you will be allocated to different volunteering project sites. There you will plant trees to preserve the last kiwi populations, take care of hiking trails or conduct field studies to investigate New Zealand’s flora and fauna.

Our sabbatical in Australia and New Zealand will give you the chance to gain new energy with the help of untouched nature and unique landscapes. By your voluntary commitment and your efforts you can give something back to the nature and help to preserve it for future generations.
