Botswana is a landlocked country in Southern Africa and shares borders with South Africa, Namibia, Sambia and Zimbabwe. The country has a population of 2 million inhabitants and covers an area of roughly 600.000 km². Botswana's climate is semi-arid. Temperatures may go from 35°C in summer to 20°C in winter. At night it can cool down to 0°C. Botswana features impressive wonders of nature and some of the rarest animal species in Africa, particularly the "Big Five".The vast Kalahari desert as well as the unique Okavango Delta are situated in Botswana.
