Mashatu Game Reserve

The Mashatu Game Reserve which is part of the Tuli Northern Game Reserve and is home to many marvellous creatures. You will be able to study in detail the behaviour of the numerous species that live here. Among the better known specimens are elephants and lions, but you will also find lesser known species such as mongoose and the bat-eared fox, which you can observe at close quarters in the wild.

Camp Kwapa

The Okavango Delta is part of the braided Okavango River which is situated in Botswana’s North West District and can be described as a maze of beautiful lagoons, lakes and hidden waterways. This oasis within the huge Kalahari Desert extends over an area of more than 20,000 km² and is a magnet for a variety of animals due to the high amount of fresh water that establishes a lush wildlife.

Camp Kwapa is situated in a private nature reserve south of the Delta in the vicinity of the Qwapa River. The area is perfect for the observation of local wildlife and if you’re lucky you might be able to see not only the “Big Five” but also cheetahs, wild dogs, hippos, giraffes, zebras, wart hogs, impalas and many others. Moreover, the fascinating landscape offers a variety of habitats like savanna, mopane forests, grass‑, swamp‑ and marshlands, lagoons as well as small rivers and is definitely worth the trip – an educational nature experience you will never forget!
